Canon is my primary gear, partially due to Canon's philosophy kyosei.
A concise definition of this word would be "Living and working together for the common good," but our definition is broader: "All people, regardless of race, religion or culture, harmoniously living and working together into the future. "Unfortunately, the presence of imbalance in our world-in areas such as trade, income levels and the environment-hinders the achievement of kyosei. Addressing these imbalances is an ongoing mission, and Canon is doing its part by actively pursuing kyosei. True global companies must foster good relations, not only with their customers and the communities in which they operate, but also with nations and the environment. They must also bear the responsibility for the impact of their activities on society. For this reason, Canon's goal is to contribute to the prosperity of the world and the happiness of humanity, which will lead to continuing growth and bring the world closer to achieving kyosei. |
Currently in my Tamrac Bag,
My primary camera is a Canon EOS-1 Ds
Canon EOS-1 35mm film
Canon 70 - 200 F2.8 EF L USM IS
Cannon 24 - 105 F4 EF L USM IS
Cannon 100 F2.8 Macro EF USM
Cannon EX 580 Flash
Cannon EX 24 Twin Lite Flash
I am using a Nikon 8800 as back-up and for catch shots. Many of the images on this site were made with this camera.
A Slik U-212 Tripod
UV Haze Filter
Skylight A-1 Filter
Circular Polarizing Filter
Rayovac 15 Minute rechargable batteries
HP 9180 Printer
My list of desired equipment is quite long. However, it has been said more than once it's not so much the camera that is used. It has a lot more to do with how the camera is operated.
